Our Promise

Every lesson, script, and course on this site is and always will be free and open-source. We never monetize knowledge. What needs funding is the physical layer — the offline SSD kits, internet stipends, and event spaces that let students with limited resources actually learn.

1. Sponsor on Open Collective

Back saltco transparently on Open Collective. Every dollar is tracked in the open — you see exactly where it goes: hardware, data stipends, and delivery costs. Perfect for individuals and organizations who want public, visible support.

2. Fund an Offline SSD "Digital Library Box"

For a set cost, we build a pre-loaded offline drive: our YouTube library, Linux 101, QGIS installers, and curated datasets — ready for communities with little or no internet. Sponsors can fund boxes for a specific school, university, or region in Sudan.

Cost per box: covered per-unit hardware + shipping. Receipts published openly.

3. Sponsor a Course or Mapathon

Co-brand a masterclass, a Linux 101 cohort, or a community Mapathon. Your logo appears equally alongside saltco on all materials. All joint content stays 100% open-source.

4. Recurring Supporter

Small monthly contributions sustain the recurring costs: website hosting, video storage, and tooling that keeps the library running. Every supporter is acknowledged publicly.

Transparency Commitment

We publish open financials. Every donation, sponsorship, and expense is itemized and visible — because trust is what open source runs on.
